Nonteacher IG Accounts for Self-Care

Hey there, Amazing Teacher!

If you are anything like me, you scroll through IG accounts to get inspired. You love seeing other amazing teachers creating and implementing fantastic activities. The smiling faces, the colorful bulletin boards, the Pinterest-worthy decor. It's all fabulous.

But, on the flip side, those accounts can sometimes leave you feeling inept, lacking, and down right crummy.

There are things you can do. You do control your social media. Some people choose to unfollow certain accounts while others will simply not go into their account in an effort to avoid looking at it all.

I offer a third option: start following nonteacher accounts that bring a smile to your face. Start filling your feed and interacting with accounts that inspire you in a different way.

In an effort to help fill your feed with alternative fun, I have listed a sampling of eye-candy that's sure to make your day brighter! Click around and follow some new accounts...

I hope you were able to find some alternative accounts to give you much needed relief from any kind of crummy feelings you may be harboring. Life is about balance, right? Don't feel guilty about needing a break from the barrage of IG accounts that demonstrate the best that teaching has to offer. It's a standard that is not sustainable all day, every day. So, your IG account should reflect that philosophy as well. Set up your IG account to remind you of the balance that we all deserve.
